Magnitude-4.1 earthquake rattles near Rio Vista
Epicenter in Isleton, USGS says.
Parts of Solano County shook for a few seconds early Wednesday morning after a magnitude-4.1 earthquake rattled the Sacramento Delta.
The earthquake struck around 9:30 a.m. with the epicenter located in Isleton, a short drive from Rio Vista in southeastern Solano County.
The size of the earthquake was initially reported as magnitude 4.5, which triggered a “ShakeAlert” warning on phones and other mobile devices as far north as Sacramento.
Solano NewsNet readers in Vacaville and Fairfield relayed reports of light shaking that lasted around 10 seconds. There was no immediate word on damage or injuries.
