Firefighters rushed to the scene of a fully-involved trailer fire along Highway 160 early Friday evening.
The fire was reported around 7 p.m. along the south-bound lanes of the highway near the Brannan Island State Recreation Area, two miles south of Rio Vista.
A responding fire crew found a fully-engulfed trailer on the side of the road. Initial reports indicated a propane tank exploded inside the camper, which caused flames to spread to the entire unit.
The fire was knocked down around 8 p.m. Crews were working to dissect the camper, so it could be removed from the roadway.
There were no reports of injuries associated with the fire.
