One injured after airplane crashes near Yolo County airport

Firefighters from Dixon assisted with a vegetation fire that was sparked by a plane crash near the Yolo County Airport on Thursday.
The crash and fire were reported around 11:45 a.m. near the intersection of Pedrick Road and Vineyard Lane.
The pilot of a Cessna plane suffered minor injuries and did not require hospitalization, according to information provided to Solano NewsNet.
The U.C. Davis Fire Department is the lead agency on the crash, and firefighters from Dixon helped at the scene.
What caused the crash was unclear as of Thursday evening.
