The Benicia Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving a rash of burglaries at antique stores in that city and others throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
On Wednesday, the agency released a surveillance video showing a man breaking into one of those shops while allegedly burglarizing an antique store earlier in the week.
In a statement, authorities said the suspect is wanted in connection with other similar burglaries at shops in Martinez, Petaluma and Vallejo. Officers identified Khang Quoc Le as a person of interest in the case.
Police say Le is currently wanted in connection with an arrest warrant issued in Sonoma County. Anyone with information about Le’s whereabouts is asked to contact detectives at the Benicia Police Department by calling 707-745-3411.
