Benicia hosting COVID-19 vaccine clinic on April 8

Health officials in Benicia will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic where the Johnson & Johnson variant of the vaccine will be administered.
In a social media post on Monday, city officials said they have 400 appointments available for the vaccine clinic, which will be offered to residents who are 50 years of age or older.
The clinic will take place on Thursday, April 8 at the Benicia Senior Center between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Appointments must be made online, and proof of age is required upon check-in to the clinic. Those who receive the shot will be required to remain under observation on-site for at least 30 minutes.
Free parking will be offered at the Benicia Public Library behind the Benicia City Hall. Another free parking location will be set up at the Benicia Community Center.
