Barn fire triggers smoke plume seen from Vacaville
County firefighters are on the scene of a two-alarm structure fire in rural Vacaville.
The fire started just before 4 p.m. near the area of Willow Road and Maple Road.
A California Highway Patrol helicopter reported a fully-engulfed barn fire that was destroyed in a matter of minutes. The fire spread to a nearby hay stack and vegetation, triggering a two-alarm response.
Firefighters from the Vacaville Fire Protection District and California Medical Facility (CMF) Fire Department are among those on the scene. No other structures were threatened as of 4:10 p.m.
