Amazon offers discount Prime membership for county assistance recipients
Eligible Solano County residents who receive public assistance can sign up for Amazon Prime for just $6 a month.

Amazon is offering a discount on its Amazon Prime membership to Solano County residents who receive public assistance like Calfresh and Medicaid.
Residents who are receiving certain benefits are eligible to sign up for an Amazon Prime membership for just $6 a month, a discount of 50 percent compared to the company’s normal membership rate.
The discounted membership offers access to Amazon Prime’s full suite of benefits, including one-day and two-day delivery on millions of items within the Amazon online store and a 15 to 20 percent discount on everyday essential items like groceries and diapers.
CalFresh recipients can also use their SNAP benefits to shop for groceries and other items on Amazon, including those sold via the Amazon Fresh and Amazon Pantry online stores.
To be eligible for Amazon Prime’s discounted membership rate, customers must obtain county or state benefits through one or more of the following programs:
CalFresh (formerly known as SNAP)
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
Medi-Cal and/or other Medicaid services (Medicare recipients are not eligible)
Other assistance programs administered through Solano County or the State of California.
